last one....

hello everyone! well, i just have a couple last things to share here. This is going to be my last week of my mision. it is amazing to me. I have learned so much here more than ever before in my whole life. I think i am in debt to my father in heaven for all he has done for me! there are no words to describe it in any language. We have found 6 new people to teach! I am loving it. one if them is Estefania she is so special and i feel so bad for her. she doesnt have work (like 80% of the people here), and is a single mom of 3. Very humble. I felt the spirit so strong iwth her. Nancy is doing really well witrh the ward too here , it is amazing to see the  chagne in people. I will miss it very much. The ward here has taught me so many things that will change my life forever. It is a ward where there is unity and faith and actual conversion in the Lord Jesus Christ. I dont have time to send pictures, but in just a week or so you will all see more anyways after. Sorry haha. Today has been pac...

apostle comminnggg!!

Hola! This week has been great. We are planning 2 baptisms (maybe ) this saturday! Gisela and Maxi! Gisela went to church again yesterday! but still has to stop smoking and she told us she wants to separate from her boyfriend that lives with her for good. He really isnt good for her for many reasons and talked with the bishop that helps a lot. We went to look at a house for rent with her and helped clean her house last week. I really love her so much, it will be weird and hard not to see her when i end.  Maxi is doing really well, he is praying to get and answer still about baptism! Laura is doing really well and is really converted, i love to see the growth in the people! also this week was REALLY cold one day!!?? It was like 40 degrees farenhiet so weird haha! (its normally like 85 degrees) We had an asado another time here haha with the mission leader and the elders, we are going to have to say good bye to him because he is getting another calling :( but we sitll are going to work w...
This week has been really great to have new people to teach! I am so excited to help all the people hear to understand the gospel :) We had over 100 contacts again this week too! I really can see how being diligent in completing ones calling brings results. A lot of people are athiest these days or just dont care about God or think churches dont matter and its crazy to meet so many people like this here. We found a couple that had listed to the misionaries before, from the area book, the boyfriend is les active but the girlfriends not a member. They are really golden! They had a lot of questions about the book of mormon and love that we teach about the family. Its really incredible to see people looking for the gospel even when they dont realize it!  We changed the church hours, like everyone, to 2 hours now, starting yesterday, which was a weird change haha but it is better. I think more new people will be able to come attend easier. Hermana Saad and i have been together now almost 4 ...

feliz aƱo nuevo!

hello everyone!  this week was pretty clam compared to other weeks, because a lot of people were gone for vacacions. But we still could teach a good amount of people! We are working with a lot more less activos and conversos. also, I am staying here in Godoy Cruz another transfer!! I will have 6 months...but maybe i will stay my last ttransfer to finish my mision here! ah that will be weird to think of finishing my mision here, or i could go to another area my last transfer. Our last convert here, Laura, got baptized the 22! it was so beautiful and she cried the whole day and when she got confirmed too. It was so wonderful, and her son also likes the church and gospel, so we are trying to get a date for baptism with him too, but he smokes and drinks and only is 13! so we are wokring with him so he can join his mom!!  Well i dont have too much else to say, or al ot of time left, but Christmas was really nice! We went to converts house here and I got to skype with my family!!!! I love th...

this week has been a crazy week! Its the first week of the transfer so once again all the sisters came for conferences or tramites or they went home or they came to train. So yeah a little busy. But i love being able to get to know all the hermanas aqui! the only thing a little hard this week was that my knees are still kinda bad. And we have to stop and rest more from walking, unfortunately i cant do the whole study thing here in the mision so i will have to wait to get home. we are working a lot with the recent converts here and its been so fun to see them grow and love the gospel. It really is like a great fire to see their testimonies grow for me, im so grateful. The leader misional is helping a lot and with the activity in 2 weeks, the whole ward is super excited to invite their friends! We did a Family home Evening with one of the recent converts familes, and it was so awesome!  We got to do the vise of my companion so she can go so Barcelona Spain for her mision finally!!! it wa...

I also had to go to the doctor again for my knees so they would give me another medicine. We also had to go to the dinner for the newbies missionaries that came this week, and the 1st training meeting! it was so funny because the asistentes invited us on short notice for the dinner and the training meeting, and we were like..uh but we already have been in training for a month now! hah but we went anyways. I felt like a newbie being with all them again haha! crazy that next month i will have been here in argentina for a year! A lot of people have rejected us this week as we talked to them, and i dont think i felt physically more exhausted ...

I am going to miss my other comp also a lot! Hna marceliano! she is the most amzing example to me! world cup!!!!!

hola todos, this week one of the good things was that, well Argentina played in Mundial, which is the world cup, against Iceland, but they had a tie 1-1, but they play again thurday so we are praying that they will win hahaha! It was funny because here it is like a sacred holiday, so we studyied in the morning sat. because there was no one in the streets! Aside from that, this week was one of the most difficult I think Ive had on my mission. my comp and I have not been able to find any new people to teach, and those that we have taught, have not progressed except 2. We dont really understand why, but all the people we tried contacting have continually attacked us or rejected us or said false lies about the church or joseph smith or the book of Mormon. Sometimes I really dont like being in the capital city, but Im sure the Lord wants us here both for a reason-. I think about the mission of the Savior often, whos mission was not to 'convince' or convert everyone to follow him, bu...
