Adventures of Hermana Martines

Hola todos! Como están?! Perdón por no enviar un group email la otra semana! so last pday, we went to a place 2 hours away! Very far! so we couldnt email for very long because we had to take a bus pretty early and we went with a member and our zone! It was called Potrellios, very beautiful!!!! fue hermosa, muy bonita! We went with our zone, everyone except the zone leader haha becuase he had other plans. Yesterday was transfers, traslados, so we have pday today!! It means that I got a new companion, because my comp Hna serrano went to another area (still close by in mendoza the city haha), she is now my sister training leader! lol I am still going to see her a lot so its great! My new companion is Hermana Reyes, de El Salvador! Another Latina! I think I am going to have a lot in the mision haha. She is already so amazing and so fun! Lavalle is going to be great with the two of us! We had an amazing week, a miracle last week!!!!! One of the former investigadores, Hugo, was bautizied!!! ...

hola todos, sorry!!! I havent been able to write a group email out the last few weeks or so!! Last week, it was new years!! so all the internet cafes were closed, so we went to a hotel where a memeber owns it and I couldnt email for the normal time that I have haha. But don´t worry about me ever haha. I am doing well! so some of the changes that have happened are that our schedules changed!! We are working now until 10 pm every day starting this week!! It is crazy, so we get less sleep haha but we also leave in the morning to at likt 930 to do citas but then we go back after lunch to finish studies. the mision president likes a lot of changes hah! We also can wake up at 630 to have more time to do things the morning, it is a new option apparently. Also, the last week we didnt have electricity!! it was crazy!! We didnt pay the bill because it was 2,000 pesos and we ran out of money that week,,. lol mision problems. But, so when we got money we paid and so now we have electricity!! I am ...

Hola todos, ¿Cómo están este semana? Espero que tengan un buen semana!! This week, well, it was good, but we honestly didn´t teach that much as we have in the past, but we have high goals for this week! We had exchanges, and we also had a open house for the chapel! (The church building), called capilla abierta! It also was SSOOOO hot this week!! I almost died! me and Hna Serrano were dying haha, I am glad we lived!!! We went to visit one of the investigadores again that needs to get married, Joana, tuesday and her and Juanjo, her boyfriend, still are not really progressing...it is frustrating kind of haha becuase they have known the truth for a long time but still just put off the wedding because of material things, like money, and all the decorations that they want I guess. Wednesday we went did intercambios, exchanges again!! It was so fun, this time with Hna Neres, my sister training leader. She is SO sweet, she is the best, I love her sooo much, she is from Brazil! the money here! sorry I forgot to send this, the money is great for me here because 17 Pesos=1 USdollar. So I am rich here!!! Everything is so cheap in American money terms! Also, our area is HUGE, it used tobe onlyfor Elders, because it is as big as my county. SMC is myarea haha, sowe bike or take the bus everywhere for appointments! hola todos! Every week is so humbling because I keep realizing that there is so much that I still have to learn and do better at. We have visited a lot of menos activos, (LA), and that is a big focus here.
